Opens down 600, dives immediately, fluctuates significantly through the day with a couple minor runs, but eventually settles down around 1400

foreclosures everywhere

This will be interesting to see... I don’t think it will be that bad. Wells Fargo already emailed me stating they are doing 90 day relieve on mortgages.

I don’t know what the qualifiers are or what the relief looks like, but I don’t think there will be mass foreclosures during this.

That’s what I want to know and what the qualifications are.

I really believe the market has a "starting to get back to normal date" of mid April priced into it. With the announcement today, it would not shock me AT ALL for a 10%+ drop tomorrow. That's also why I believe the announcement came on a Sunday so no one could be easily accused of having inside info and dumping on Friday; two days before the announcement.

But, I've been plenty wrong before regarding the market...

post your predictions
Doesn't look that bad.
DJIA Futs are -215. I'd guess -600-700 at close

The bad day will probably be Th or Fri after the next jobs report.

There is going to be so much money made in the markets by those with liquidity and solid jobs.

I wish I was 100% certain my job was safe, because I would be pumping lots of money into the market. In the next year to two, you will easily make a killing.

I pray it's not too bad. The CARES act has been signed. That should blunt some of this?

You don't think that those numbers were already assumed and reflected in the previous huge drops?

I expect a drop tomorrow and maybe into the week due to the extended federal directives, but the jobs and earnings numbers aren't going to be surprises. It will suck to actually see reality reflected in them, but will they cause a big sell off?

The estimates as far as the delta are millions, the market will be blindsided dip shite. We can revisit this Thursday though

Shall we revisit last Thursday as you suggested?

The market is smarter than you and me.
