My 2016 F150 Crew Cab 4x4 is finally due for new tires.

I'm thinking about getting Falken AT3 in 275/70/R18 33" tire

Along with the new tires, I would like a level kit. 2 or 2.5"

Any suggestions?

I know there are other upgrades like Bilstein shocks etc but I'm curious about something like the Motocfab 2.5 level kit with these size tires

We did the rough country 2” kit on my wife’s (no pics) 2019 150. It’s got the factory 20’s on it with factory tires. We will likely put the same size Toyo open country RT on this fall. No complaints at all with that level kit.

What is the deal with the leveling stuff? Why is it popular?

I like the more level look compared to the extreme take factory gives you.

Factory F250s look better to me Due to they don’t have that extreme rake.

I dont tow trialers so I am not concerned about that if you tow you will squat.

Great tires. Got over 60 thousand miles on same exact set. Still got another 10-15k of tread. On a f250.

I have 2016 F150 FX4 and went with 2.5” leveling kit (not sure which brand but Ford did the install). Put 33x12.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler’s on factory wheels. It is level with no rake at all.

did you replace the spare with the new size?

I'm thinking I will. I know its 1" difference but If I'm out of town/state, I want my spare to match to a long distance home if needed.

2” RC leveling kit didn’t near about level my 2019, so I ended up getting a 3” Halo lift For the front and raised the rear 3/4”.

33” Open Country AT2 Extreme tires are quiet and ride good.

I have Cooper ST Max on my 150 and love them. I’ve had them on two different trucks. I’d recommend getting Bilstien 5100’s to level instead of a block kit or something. Doesn’t cost much more and it’ll ride significantly better than spacers/blocks/etc.

I just put a 2” motofab front level & 295/70/R18 Cooper Evolution MTs on my F150, I like how it turned out. Ordered it all from amazon, total installed was just under $1000 I think.

Put 2.5” autospring level kit with 275/65R20 (34”x11”) wildpeak at/3’s on my 2017 F150. I also added air bags to prevent squat while occasionally towing. Been very happy with it. Got 50k miles on tires and they still look great. I bet I can get another 50k out of em. FWIW I don’t tow anything heavy, just boats and 4 wheelers.

That's a nice looking truck! If you don't mind me asking, what color is that? On my screen it appears lighter than the factory Magnetic Gray.

I really like that color too. When I was looking for my truck, I wanted that Guard Grey/green which is similar...and they stopped making it after ‘15. Got Dark metallic in my ‘17, and they started making this color again in ’19?

Ah well, I have a 305/55/20 Wildpeaks with about 25k miles and they still look brand new. 2” supreme suspensions spacer from Amazon on the front. Looks better than factory rake, rides the same after front end alignment.
