Of course we have no idea if this football season will be cancelled or not, but if it is, would true sophomores like Ja'Marr be able to leave and enter the 2021 NFL draft? Surely he wouldn't stay. But hopefully this football season is played as normal and we get 15 more games of the new #7 making dudes look like children.

This thread is terrible, but to answer your question, you don’t have to play 3 years in college, you just have to be 3 years removed from high school. So yeah, any guys from that class would be draft eligible even without a 2020 season.

Sure everyone downvoted this post and bash this guy but we really don’t know. I remember everyone on here saying no way march madness will be cancelled then it was cancelled three days later. Strange times indeed

I’m not sure the schools or local economies around major P5 universities can handle a cancelled football season. That would be a financial disaster.

Ummm it’s a financial disaster right now so don’t think it can’t happen.

I’m not saying it can’t happen but you’re talking about a whole different level of bailouts needed. You’re also talking about this being prolonged to at least August to cancel the season.

Everyone needs to turn off the news for a bit and stop listening to worst case scenario bs. Go ahead and bookmark.

Our dear leaders have already created a financial disaster. Why do you think canceling college football would be the straw that breaks the camel's back in the midst of the greatest overreaction in modern history?

The NCAA canceled the basketball tournament...THE event that accounts for nearly 80% of their yearly revenue. I'd imagine most people (i.e not the vocal minority on social media) will have grown BEYOND tired of this bullshite long before we reach the point where a decision on college football will need to be made, but with large events set for several weeks/months in the future already being canceled today (read: in the last few weeks), why would college football be any different? Particularly when those games are some of the largest mass gatherings in the country every year.

At this point I think it is abundantly clear the scope of knee jerk reactions from politicians is unlimited
