I would put myself into that category as terrible a business person. 8 years owning my restaurant and i still feel like I’m trying to hold water in my hands. Don’t know if that’s just me or if it’s the industry but nothing is ever promised with a restaurant. Luckily we’ve been fortunate to have been in business for 19 years so we have a little savings to float us through this mess until we can go back to serving. If i was 2 years into it I would have to close down for good. No idea what i would do otherwise.

Using this time to update the restaurant and give the whole place a much needed facelift. This will definitely lighten the restaurant market and the ones who are still standing should benefit.

From what i read Metairie/New Orleans are went from 450ish restaurants pre Katrina to 850ish in the last few years. So many choices to eat today

Payroll Protection Plan loan/grant through an SBA approved lender. Call your CPA and ask for help in generating the data that is needed. Do this pronto.
