Over/Under on days until Dr. Anthony Fauci is not in his current position/role?

Whether he moves aside and promotes another MD, whether Trump pushed him to the background completely, whether he's sick/ill in some way, fired....any action or scenario that would "remove" him from his current position?
Current line is 7 days....Does he last until or through Apr 2?

The moment he starts to become bad for business is the moment Trump kicks him to the curb.

He'll be there until he doesnt want it. He wasnt appointed by Trump and I'm not sure Trump can touch him technically.
Either way hes been with the organization since before Reagan. He'll retire where hes at peacefully without issue.

Not gonna happen. Trump is no fool. They may disagree, but Trump knows how terrible a message that would put out to the world if Fauci left the task force.

It could get dicey if our infection numbers continue to rise through Easter and Trump becomes adamant on opening things up. As Dr. Fauci said, the virus sets the timeline. Not us.
Otherwise, I hope he stays. He’s well respected across the board and hopefully Trump continues to listen to him.

Whatever position he's in, people will listen to him over Clownshoe and his idiotic Easter mandate.

Fauci and Cuomo are now the most trusted talking heads re: the virus. Nothing Trump can do about it.

I just wonder how much it's getting to him. I could see a more graceful transition to someone lateral to him taking a larger role to let him fade some and perhaps gracefully bow out. However, ethically he may not be able to let himself do that.

I like Fauci and the whole staff at the NIH. My daughter is being studied via two research protocols there for a yet to be fully categorized condition that is related to an immune dysfunction. There are over 300 known disorders and she doesn’t completely fit any of them. And she has another rare genetic disorder on top of that.
It is interesting and complex work they do over there. The boots on the ground are as aggressive as they are capable of being I can assure you of that.

If Fauci keeps moving closer to "the stats show this is a nothing burger" I expect Hillary will take out a contract on him. He better avoid small airplanes and walking down the street after dark.

The first day he let this guy talk w/o knowing all of the scare tactics he was going to throw out was the downfall for Trump. He created the panic and opened the door for the media and pig pile governors/mayors to start this depression. Now Trump is at the mercy of his detractors to start the economy. You think POS like JBE and Cuomo aren't going to use this to drive the stake further into Trump, don't kid yourself.

I will say, I didnt like Cuomo prior to this, not sure why, but he really seems to understand the situation well and is able to communicate that well to the public.
