Dividend likely to be reduced to .30 from .50 in the 2Q.

I’m not sure if this bodes well for them long term or not.

I’d say you’re playing with fire if anyone buys. If they can actually pay their 2Q div as forecast then it’s probably going to be fine.

Full disclosure I own way too much....

Something like 90% of their portfolio is residential mortgages. realistically, how many homeowners will go under? Do we think this will drag on for such an event to happen?

If it was commercial I’d be much more concerned.

I'm in the same boat. Bought at 21. Then again at 15. Now I want in a 6.66 but damn, I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.

I think it might be more than that. Not just their current assets devalued, but their ongoing business model of acquiring new mortgage paper that is less profitable than it used to was. Or something like that. If the housing market in general slows down, and becomes a buyer's market again, they would affect their business.

This is not a huge company. It's not very diversified. It's not too big to fail.

Same but i don’t want to be too heavily invested in one stock so just letting it ride at this point.

My average stock cost is $16.65. Still good value if they can maintain the $.30 quarterly div. I’m not looking to sell anytime soon.

Like a lot of people, I have been hoarding cash the last 6 months waiting on something like this to happen, now all these stocks are cheap and I'm too scared to buy.
