Other states have already had to step in to force these greedy fricking owners to shut down everything but the service department, and the powers that be in Louisiana are already expecting to have to do the same here.

From my research car dealerships are not open Sundays in Louisiana or Texas. Getting mixed answers all over the place about sales being up and running (for test drives). Service departments will be open and I can buy on-line. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow when a dealer does or doesn’t answer the phone and answer the question. Thanks all

Dealership owners are trying to figure out a way to keep the sales side open as we speak

Scum
I hope they have a way to trace an infected person to one of these non essential businesses that refuse to close and they can be held liable later.

Chevy is running commercials for 0% for 84 months so the general public can over extend themselves on a $70k Tahoe. Trying times.

Chrysler has the same promotion too. It isn't a bad time for prime customers to finance a new car.

How dare those evil people want to provide for their families.

What people?

The employees want to go home. It's the greedy fricking owners that want to keep it open.

Closing car dealerships would be extremely fricking stupid

Do you think it is smart, or fair, to force commissioned employees to come into work during this time?

This only serves the best interest of the owners, and the salesmen would happily risk their mini deal or two during this time.

You fricking people are idiots.

Eta: took out a true story, bc I thought about the possibility of retarded leos

Texted friends at atvzone and friendly and they are going to try to stay open.

I'm not above making sure the proper authorities are aware of it.

One of them a single dad and the other takes care of both his parents and in-laws.

So two pages and no answer yet. I’m assuming they’re going to stay open and hope the state doesn’t force them to close the sales side.

I am in the market for a used truck. I would assume I could talk down the prices right now

Automotive service and repair facilities are listed as essential. Its ambiguous and based on interpretation with sales and you will probably get clarification tomorrow.

My guess is no sales only service parts and body shops

Are you a simple minded, low iq salesman?

Incorrect. A Texas dealership can be open on Sunday, if they choose to close on Saturday. I, personally, have purchased on a Sunday.
