Exactly. Increased numbers of "confirmed" cases do not warrant ever draconian measures. Impose reasonable measures and just let this play out. Hell, it may be way too late anyway as it is becoming increasingly apparent that there are large numbers of asymptomatic positives walking around out there. The country has limited patience for this lockdown stuff. Maybe a couple of weeks max, and then it is time to start transitioning back to normal activity.

This^^

We would have had to shut everything down before or right after Mardi Gras. It was probably too late even then.
