Same. 8lb bone-in. Slight injection and heavy dry rub yesterday. Had smoker going at 430. Been adding wood, drinking beer, and scoping TD.

Not smoking, but I just started a huge roast in the crock pot. Gym is closed, yard is done, time to drink?

I got a turkey in my freezer. Wife (no pics) bought all kinds of food. I'm trying to decide when to smoke it to be worthwhile.

It's still 30 degrees here; I'm not smoking shite. I am going to buy a Weber MasterTouch kettle this week though and try smoking either ribs or pork butt next weekend when it should get toward mid 50s. It will be my first time smoking.

Have any of y'all had issues with your rubs clumping up into chunks inside the shaker after a while?

I score all my butts fat cap up in pans to render and pull with the juice when done.

Scoring the fat cap also makes tasty treats I call pork butt burnt ends.
