i really dont think the packers are going to release farve due to the fact he might go to chicago or minnisota. so if they trade him jon gruden is going to throw everything hes got to greenbay. how much would that hurt our chances of knocking off tampa and winning the division because if farve comes back its to win a super bowl not to scrath an itch

I really don't think that he (Farve) would go to T. Bay because of the receiver issues going on in Tampa. My personal thought is that if released, Farve would probably like to go Kansas City. But if Ted Thompson cuts or lets B. Farve out of Green Bay, there will be a revolt against G. Bay's front office. The sad thing is that A. Rodgers is in a no win situation in this.

Unless he leads the Pack to the Super Bowl this year... which he won't so I agree.

As long aas D. Synder is leading, there is slim to no chance.

What about Carolina? I know Delhomme is there but it is a possibility... plus with Favre they would become lead in division, especially if defense performs and JP gets back in form.

I don't think KC wants him. They're rebuilding and committed to Croyle for the year. All the other teams in the AFC West have their young franchise QB's (JR, Rivers, Cutler) and KC doesn't want to get left too far behind in the QB race. If Croyle doesn't work out this year, I could instead see KC drafting a guy like Chase Daniel out of Mizzou next year. If Favre comes back I hope it's an AFC team. But frankly, I'm tired of the retiring-not retiring talk about and from Favre every year. Either play or go away and quit being such a drama queen.

Do people really not know how to spell Brett FAVRE?

Also, why are all the Favre threads on the Saints board?

Just about every scenario thrown out in this thread has been for NFC teams.

The chances of Favre being traded to an NFC team are awfully slim.

someone was telling me he should make full circle and go to atlanta so matt ryan can learn behind him. that would be a horrible way for favre to go out. they are about 3-4 years away from being a decent team and he would get knocked retarded playing for atlanta.

Tampa was a playoff team last year and KC sucks arse. Why would he go to a bad team over a playoff team with questionable QB's?

Also, how are KC's WR better exactly?

If I'm a Packers fan, here's how I see it:

No playoffs: Rodgers sucks.
Wild card: par.
Division title: Kick arse.
One playoff victory: Rodgers is a gamer.
Anything more: I blow my load.

Farve to KC- 80%
Farve to Minnesota- 65%
Farve to Tampa- 55%
Farve to Washington- 40%
Farve to Chicago- 40%
Farve to Miami- 35%
Farve to San Francisco- 35%
