For years I didn't have allergies as I was on immuno suppressants.
I'm off them now and fight the pollen dump like many.
I was trying Zyrtec at night but i feel tired as shite all day the next day.
Is there another one better?
Thanks..

I prefer Allegra or Claritin. I usually mix them up every other spring.

Xyzal is a pretty good third gen antihistamine but if you have issues with Zyrtec it won't be much different. I'd try to localize your treatment instead of going the pill route. Drops for eyes, nasal spray (I like Flonase), inhaler for lungs, etc.

The DayQuil liquid is a fix-all for me. Take about twice the recommended dosage. The DayQuil gelcaps are worthless.
I know DayQuil isn’t a long-term fix but it will help when the symptoms are especially bad

I take Xyzal. It doesn’t bother me like Zyrtec did.

I’ve tried them all and Claritin liquid gels and flonase work the best

I find none really work long term for me and I’m better off without them. I’ve tried the sprays, but find they make my nose have bloody boogers.

Zyrtec and Allegra take a few days before they work so you have to take them everyday to keep allergies away. I have had the best luck with Zyrtec, but if it is real bad and I can’t sleep then I take Flonase. Claritin hasn’t done shite for me.

Sudafed and allegra make a huge difference for me.

Zyrtec and Benadryl are the only ones that work for me. Benadryl makes me want to sleep for 24 hours, Zyrtec only 23. So I go with Zyrtec....

I've always taken 24 hr Zyrtec, but it's not working right now.

I 2nd this
My wife takes 2 at a time in the morning I just take 1. She and the kids have allergies much worse than I do, but I feel it helps me breath better, helps with sinus headaches with ZERO side effects, drowsiness or the opposite

The only “non-drowsy” antihistamine that doesn’t make me drowsy is Allegra. I use it in conjunction with Flonase nasal spray and that duo works better than anything I have ever tried.
ETA: experiment with Claritin, Zyrtec, Allegra, etc to find out which one doesn’t make you drowsy because it might be different for everybody. Pair that with Flonase.
