I mean the owners of the grocery stores can close but the government will come in and run them. No one is going to run out of food. The logistics of keeping grocery stores, pharmacies open are being discussed now.

This is what's known as the Italian lockdown, not the Wuhan lockdown.
You see how useful the Italian lockdown was, over 600 deaths today letting people make their groceries.
China's lockdown barricading tunnels not letting people out of their apartments for a month, now no new cases, no new deaths.
