"ESPN8: The Ocho" will run all day this Sunday on ESPN2
and now ESPN (yes, the main ESPN channel) will run replays of WWE's Wrestlemania XXX (from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome) this Sunday, Wrestlemania XXXII (from Jerry World in Arlington, Texas) on 3/29, & Wrestlemania XXXV (from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ)

Wrestlemania XXX was awesome.
Pro Wrestling used to be on ESPN during the early days of the network.
Good move by them

WWE is reportedly interested in selling a few of the PPVs outside of the WWE network and ESPN+ is possibly interested. I bet this is kind of a trial run

pretty sure ESPN was the home of the AWA back in those early days
and again when they had "Cheap Seats" hosted to the comedic duo of the Sklar Bros on ESPNNews late night (a great show honestly... basically sports meets Mystery Science Theater 3000)... they showed several AWA show replays

These pro wrestlers are crazy, man. How old is undertaker? I watched the other night and Edge was making a return to the ring...after triple vertibrae fusion. WTF?

They should be replaying WrestleMania 5 and 6

I mean if you want ratings you should be showing the old ones featuring Stone Cold and the Rock. What was that? Like 15 through 19?

In the early days of ESPN I definitely remember them broadcasting whatever organization it was that ran their shows out of the Sportatorium in Dallas.

WCCW.
Fritz Von Erich was one of the scummiest promoters ever. Had an article about his family that was quite horrific (basically drove his kids to suicide)
