Your thought process and political philosophy ALWAYS goes backwards. ALWAYS.
It took me almost 15 years of voting Democrat to realize this.

it's not even about that
who has heard about the issues with South Korean pilots crashing? not all aspects of their culture are superior

Everyone is having trouble stopping it because it is highly infectious, has a long latency period during which it's infectious, and no one has immunity to it.
Blaming this on culture is ridiculous. It's politics and science. The science was messy, but the politics was messier because the White House was actively slow-rolling this response with the hope that the outcomes would be minimal. A massive ramp up in production would've created anxiety in the population and negative press for Trump that he wanted to do without. They gambled and lost.

I'm glad you finally woke up and realized there aren't 250 genders.

You are a liar.

Indeed. And the sooner the US electorate begins to accept this reality, the more peace of mind they'll have.
China has been at this for decades. The USA is going to have to fight against almost half of its own people and some MIGHTY power-brokers to alter this paradigm. TRUMP can't do it 4 or 8 or even 10 years and after he's gone, no POTUS will even bother to try.

bruh.
ok let me ak this:
do you agree that if a population is more likely to engage in submission to authority and putting the state over the individual, then that society is much more likely to follow quarantine and self-isolation protocols than a population who is less likely to do those things?

The science was messy,
is. there are no good populations studied or peer reviews going on

how so?
like banning travel from China?
staying out of the way of the CDC so it could its job? Following its recommendations to make its own test?
again, short of martial law, what could the federal government do?
nationalizing industries to preemptively manufacture vents? declare a state of emergency before states could handle their responsibilities?
this is primarily a state issue. there is only so much the feds can do. one thing they can do is restrict travel, which he did (and was criticized for it). another thing they can do is let the CDC work, which they did (and the CDC failed horribly initially)

My favorite would be watching the current left call people like my Grandfather a "Nazi", while he tore down Nazi flags all over Europe.

The president has a bully pulpit with which he could mobilize half the population that have any respect for him to push for mobilization of their respective public health systems. The democratic base is much more inclined to follow recommendations of public health authorities to start with. He could called for cutting through regulations on research samples that had corona in the in January, but which weren't tested for over a month until the researchers broke the law to do it and found cases (and protected the public). He could've not cut the pandemic response team or the behavioral sciences team whose job it is to make it easier for Americans to follow policy since we lack Confucius!
You don't have to nationalize industries (although you could). You could incentive it.
I'm not the commie EZ thinks I am.
What he chose to do instead was blow sunshine up our asses about how much worse flu is than corona.
Not helpful.

I guess you weren't around for the meuller investigation, the Ukraine umpeachmint, the activist judges making ruling in violation of clear constitutional law making America weaker and more at risk just to get a zing at trump.
they would let their mothers and sisters get raped on TV if it meant they could score political points against trump

you're speaking in generalities. what specifics?

i think the population has shown this is a huge lie
people were STILL going to beaches in florida YESTERDAY.

was this a Trump issue or an issue with the CDC or FDA?

He could've not cut the pandemic response team o
again, this means nothing. what could they have done, specifically?

or the behavioral sciences team whose job it is to make it easier for Americans to follow policy
how would they do that?
again, look at how people are acting with all of this information they have

i said earlier on here this was a big L for Trump
don't act like i'm just promoting Trump
also, his UBI-lite is fricked up. politicians shouldn't be allowed to take negative actions against their constituents and then bribe them to avoid a democratic response. i've been saying that on here for days
i've been posting memes like this on my personal social media, too
