I don’t think so...we were beating A&Ms arse from the beginning, no need for tricks

Pretty awesome when you are so good you don't have to.

Trick plays are mostly for losers like Gus, as soon as okla and Clemson ran that shite, I knew they were scared as fk.
Trick plays are for teams that cannot beat you with their normal offense.
We ran about sixty trick plays that caught the defense off guard. The were call touchdown passes. Something we seldom ran in years past.

There was a nice play against Alabama where Burrow threatened to keep and then hit Chase for a nice gain
Joe said they ran the play a lot this year, it was just never open until then. Glad it was against bama

When Joe Burrow threw the ball to himself against Georgia.

The offense as a whole was basically a video game cheat code.

Y’all remember that one time when Joe Burrow completed a 16 yard pass to himself in the SEC Championship Game?
Good times!

Didn’t we run a Flea Flicker vs A&M or am I just imagining this?
That was the season before last, in one of the overtimes. It was probably the first time LSU had run that play in 20 years, so obviously we had the element of surprise!

I’ve always said trick plays are to get over on a better team. We were always the better team so no need

vs UGA burrow threw the ball to himself by way of defenders hand. Beautifully executed.

You don't have to trick defenses when you straight dominate them.
The only "trick plays" we ran were RPO's and we had a sweet sequences of fake hikes one game but I can't remember who we played. Basically it was like 4th and 4 and Burrrow started out in shotgun, fake hike to get the defense jump, then he changes RB's position, fake hike to get the defense to jump again, then he transitions the play to under center and fake hikes yet a 3rd time to get the defense to jump. It never worked out, but he did 3 different formation and fake hikes in about 15 seconds, it looked sweet but it did not work.

Jeaux rocking to "Neck" on the bench during the Natty. Clemson never saw that one coming. Wonder if LSU administrators did.

I agree. When Clemson ran 3 trick plays in their first two possessions it was a clear sign that Dabo knew they were in trouble and couldn't play straight up with us. Looked at my wife and said, "we are going to blow these guys out".
