If there is a nationwide shutdown of shite, I’d have to imagine the bar/restaurant industry would take the hardest hit.
What say you?

All of them are fricked right now. Lost, to many, in all the panic and “excitement” of the quarantines is the MAJOR economic impact of this. It will be bigger than most of us realize.

Aside from anything tourism related, small restaurants and bars are going to take a huge hit if JBE follows suit with others. I do not want to see it, but it is inevitable.

I think in 4 months things will show drastic improvement.
Many companies/people will struggle in the mean time.
Outside of healthcare, power generation, gov't work, I am hard pressed to see who will not be effected.

Think about the pelicans ticket sales reps. A year ago they were jumping up and down for winning the nba lottery to get Zion and now they’re having to try to sell tickets to a suspended sport. A lot has changed

A couple years ago I kicked a nasty addiction I had to buying airline stocks. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Travel and tourism, then restaurants, bars, movie theaters, entertainment, sellers of any large durable items like cars, boats equipment, major appliances, new businesses, anyone that needs to travel for sales, etc. Easier to say who will not be impacted.
Medical companies, pawn shops, gun and ammo manufacturers, precious metal companies, etc

I mean worst case scenario is you still have to service people that would have died normally anyway.
Although I will say this the company I work for is working at a feverish pace to come up with a way to do the at need counseling/planning electronically. We have provided services for COVID-19 fatalities in several states already.
