I frequent the other boards and quite frankly I’m tired of hearing about the virus. This is a good opportunity for everyone to fill us in on your lawn program.
January- 0-0-62 potash and tripower full sprayed. Top choice granular on whole lawn.
February-liquid barricade and spot treat with tripower for broadleaf and atrazine/certainty for poa/rescue
March-same as February unless bermuda is greening up then I switch from atrazine/certainty to monument. Arena application for grubs.
April-33-3-6 and spot treat with msm.
May-maybe nothing. Starting to look for helminthsporium on my bermuda. If present treat with heritage.
June 33-3-6 spot treat with Celsius
June-should be nothing. Possible bermuda mites treated with merit.
July-33-3-6 spot treat with Celsius
August-nothing for lawn. Top choice for insects.
September-5-0-20
October-nothing
November-full spray of specticle.
December-drink beer because my lawn is perfect and there is nothing to do

It grows, I cut. Leaves fall, I rake. Ants build, I treat. Dog poos, I pick it up. Pretty much it.

I know about lawns. I know jack shite about posting pics. I’m asking for help now.

Having recently moved this is the first year I’m moderately invested.
St. Augustine
Did some fertilizer and weed free zone in early March.
Sprayed more weed free zone with atrazine in mid April.
Will add Milorganite in a couple of weeks
Will use MSM this summer if needed.
What should I do in the fall other than more Milorganite?

Well I’m lost. Downloaded imgur and what I downloaded seems more social media like than pic uploading. Had to select avatars and other shite. Never saw share as an option.

BAHIA- cut as close as the mower will allow, curse it as it grows back up behind the mower deck passes.
ST AUG- cut at 3.75, continue planting trees and beds to reduce lawn size
otherwise, completely ignore both

Haha this is exactly what I’m doing in our back yard. Nothing but weeds. I don’t think grass can grow with the lack of sun.

The first picture was 3 weeks ago coming out of dormancy. The second pic is 5 days later. That was right before mowing. I have only mowed once since then. It has not grown at all this week because of the cold weather.
The third picture is May of last year when I filled in some holes. This was a new home so the sod was brand new.
The last picture is the edge between me and the neighbor last August.

What a beautiful green.
What makes Bermuda your favorite?

My yard isn't even where I want it yet. It's only two years old. I have some spots that I will level more. The picture from 3 weeks ago coming out of dormancy I took because I am unhappy with that back corner.
I like tif 419 because I can get it that green. I have slowly dropped the height to 1 inch and will push to 3/4. I like that fact that I can fert the hell out of it and have it respond immediately. No issues with chinch bugs, brown patch, or take all patch. If I get Dallisgrass I can knock it out in a week.
