It's hard to reschedule a PGA event with limited weekends available.

That isn't the problem it would be easy to find a weekend sometime in the fall you could play this on. The problem is finding a weekend in the fall when CBS and Jim Nantz aren't broadcasting NFL games.

This is absolutely absurd.

Golf is one of the few sports that absolutely DOESN'T need spectators.

The golfers are literally hundreds of yards away from each other a lot of the time.

Total virtue signaling and cowtowing to mob pressure.

The golfers and caddies would most likely be very safe on the golf course with no spectators. The problem is going to be keeping them from catching it via hotels, airports, rent-a-cars, and all the other off course interaction with the rest of the world. All it take to cancel any event would be one player or caddie coming down with it.

I wonder if they try to move it where PGA is in mid May (assuming they can play by then) and bump the PGA back to where it used to be and shift the rest of the schedule. Wouldn’t be optimal from a weather standpoint for Augusta but with the PGA at Harding Park they have some flexibility there

Possible but you would need the Olympics to be postponed so you could slot the PGA where the golf in the Olympics was scheduled.

Jack himself said he doesn't see how they can fit it into the schedule.

This absolutely crushes us who are in the liquor industries here. As well as lots of others.

It really sucks.

So we don't want to congregate people but everyone is congregating at the store hoarding toilet paper?

Can we host The Masters at the Piggly Wiggly?

Seems the stores should be the ones shutting down.

That's where everyone is going.

Why? Play it without fans.

Yeah because no way a professional athlete could get it and transfer it to another professional athlete in the clubhouse or anything
