Starks in the 2 deep?

I moved him to the bottom of the list at MLB. And, as I stated in the OP, I didn't assume incoming freshmen would jump anybody.

This is the worst pre spring depth chart I’ve ever seen. It’s as if you didn’t even try. This is a legit D-.

Just wow

Coach O has said Lee and Brooks are both ILB and probably will pass Starks due to his suspension.

If you go by what O said we will have have 27 middle lbers.

Ricks isn’t starting. Flott will play outside. He’s long and a press man corner

Flott was moved to Nickel for the Spring because Kary Vincent is running track right now.

Thornton isn’t starter quality.

A news report had him taking 1st Team reps, along with Clark on the inside and Baskerville as the other outside linebacker.

Coach O contributes to the guessing game. Sometimes he still uses what seems to be 3-4 terminology. For example, he referred to a couple of guys as playing Nose Tackle. I'm wondering if "inside linebacker" means middle linebacker or if it could also refer to the Rover position which most nearly relates to Weakside.

***Update***
In Coach O's post-practice Q&A (3/10/20), he defined the term "Inside Linebacker' to include both the Mike and the Will, two positions that play inside the box in a Nickel package.

I appreciate the OP effort. This is a nice, readable, concise summation. Thank you OP.

This team is going to surprise the shite out of everyone. I love we are the returning champion team and no one is giving us any credit for shite!! HA!
O’s recruiting prowess will show clearly this season. Going to be fun...,. again!

-Don’t think TK starts at DE just yet.

Coach O said that TK is the starting left end

I hope that’s the case. I feel that both would be better suited on the outside. LSU will probably play a lot of 2 LB sets next year.

Didn’t read that, if that’s the case. What a good story and encouraging for DL.

These coaches say all kinds of things. He’s unproven and has never played the position, so to think he’s going to get it right away in the sec is wishful thinking

Can you just frick off with your uninformed negative bullshite in every thread?

god damn man it must be exhausting living like that.

ETA: There's an entire article on the athletic about TK and the position change. He is our starting left end. Just like Landon Marceaux and AJ Labas are our weekend starters. Not Jaden Hill.

We will see. He had all of last fall to be a DLineman and they left him at TE.

It’s hard for me to believe they sprinkled miracle dust on a 3-star juco TE and now he’s a worthy DE starter for the defending national champ.

You can see why I’m taking a very guarded stance and will have to see it before I believe it. Remember, they said Jonathan Giles was a playmaker in practice.

This, once again, proves you have no idea what you're talking about.

They switched him to DE and red shirted him so he could work on being a DE and have more years of eligibility remaining.

1. I thought Thomas was really starting to look good. 2. It's WAY too early to worry about that 3. Why has O put together such a deep D line? He loves to rotate guys, we will probably have 10-11 guys playing on the line next year, difference between 1s and 2s won't be much

Nice effort. Don’t let the haters get to you.

It’s a nice visualization of who is available. Doesn’t take much effort to shuffle players around mentally if you like them elsewhere in pecking order or at another position.
