I know way more LSU fans than haters here in Laffy. Most of the haters are casual football fans that feel they have to pick a side. I know I pull for UL unless they’re playing LSU

I've lived in Lafayette for the past 13 years. Left Baton Rouge in 2006 had been there 6 years while going to LSU and working after I graduated, something came up in Lafayette and I've been here since. I still bleed purple and gold and so do alot of Lafayette folks. It's only a small section of UhLaLa fans who hate LSU mostly ULL alumni. My wife is ULL alumni and she hates it when I call them ULL, so of course I do it as often as I can.

Yeah man, the people who own and operate the Cajundome know its worth. It’s a baller stinking arena in a nice little sprawling town. In contrast, recently the spokespeople for the Baton Rouge…I don’t even know what the arena name is called, have come out and said, nobody wants to come to this dump

I get it! Everybody says UL but its not actually UL it's ULL UL is actually Louisville. Never realized that before.

I think you missed the part where, in the real world, nobody would ever go to Lafayette for a JASON ALDEAN concert when they don’t want to be there at all.

I pull for all state schools, but I do get a laugh out of the hilarious little brother thing that ULL has going on.

Not really, I’m a USL grad and I pull for both. I have LSU season tickets, not ULL tickets. Two kids at LSU as well. My story is way more common of actual ULL/USL grads than any LSU hater stories. But the ULL obsessed on this board (that makes less sense than the LSU haters in Laffy) won’t believe that.

I was there from late 60s to early 70s and there was definitely envy there. I actually had professors talking anti-LSU smack in the classroom. They would go a rants about funding a lot. I would just laugh to myself and enjoy it. Just because I went there has never stopped me from being an LSU fan.
