I think it was obvious he was not everyone’s first choice and truth be known probably wasn’t even in the top five of most fans choices. I do admit I didn’t want him and because of his OM results. I wanted Dan Mullen. The moment that I was all in coach Os corner was the Texas game and that remarkable pass play to Jefferson. It proved to me that coach O was not going to revert back to the old offense.

1st when he salvaged the 2017 recruiting class. Landing chaisson and Philips late. Keeping Stevens and brennan in the fold were huge. My mind was solidified when he fired Canada. Nothing against Canada but O recognized this wasn't the path and made the change. Something Miles never would have done. O has been a man of his word and checked all the boxes necessary along the way.

This was a big step for me in that direction. The off-season offensive staff moves and determination to modernize the offense was another. I think I was officially sold when we beat the brakes off Florida.
