On today's episode of that's f'ed up

So our 13 year old Yorkie, who has never gotten under the couch, managed to get under the reclining couch while the kids were on it watched TV. Wife and I were in the kitchen cooking dinner.
Well kids close couch, can't find dog, dog has been basically hung under the couch. Dead as hell. My 32 week pregnant wife finds her.
This is a whole gaggle of WTF. Now I have to figure out what to do with a dead dog at 9 pm, calm down a hormonal preggo, figure out what to tell the kids, clean the couch, then figure out how to sit on said guillotine couch and enjoy tv.
