Really...just because I used apologize in conjunction with apologist you think I don't know what one or the other means? Great. Thanks for the quality add to this convo.

Does anyone actually believe that THIS video is real? Just listen to the fake exclamations of outrage. They sound like especially bad community theatre.

Yes, Trump built a soundstage to look like Walgreens and hired actors to play the part of criminals. People didn't actually rob a store.

Holy frick are leftists stupid (or purposefully obtuse)

Or when the store raises prices or decides to close, people will bitch and cry racism. Same deal why grocery chains don't open in the hood.

It was a Walgreens apparently. The employees can’t even scold the thieves.

They should do this....

They absolutely should. Property crime should be dealt with much harder than it is right now.

Unfortunately fake videos obscure the problem and make NO MISTAKE about it there is a real problem in San Francisco.

You seem really out of touch. $950 is ridiculously high. $2K for Walmart is nothing, $950 for a small business, boutique, etc... is quite a bit of money. Take a small family owned business and hit them 2 or 3 times a week for $900 and that adds up fast. That is $86K to 129K per year. This is a direct uninsurable loss. That comes directly off the bottom line of business. Do you have any fricking idea what kind of sales that business needs to come up with just to offset that kind of theft? They will likely need another $200K to $250K to offset that theft just to BREAK EVEN on the theft.

For the life of me I think some of you people have never run a business in your life.

IF you think police waste time pursuing misdemeanor crimes then I don't know what to tell you but clearly you are clueless.

Honestly you sound like an excuse making liberal leaning piece of shite.

And it isn't like this video doesn't illustrate enough wrong without adding untrue stuff to it

And you sound emotional. to the point of disregarding objective fact.

No one was excusing theft of any size ... certainly not me. I simply demonstrated that the misdemeanor/felony threshold of $950 is consistent with the threshold in other states.

It is not “liberal” to show that the police ARE arresting and prosecuting, when some uninformed dumbarse on Twitter claims otherwise.

Where did I say (or even imply) such a thing?

The problem with prop 47 is well known in San Fran. Well known and well reported in that city. Similar situation taking shape in NY. Police no longer RESPOND to shoplifting calls, simple assault, etc... I didn't say they don't arrest... I said they don't even go out on the call.

Are you in SF? What was the $$$ threshold for misdemeanor/felony theft before prop 47?

Or maybe sitting in Fort Bend County, reading the Gateway Pundit version of what is happening in those cities?
