I get what you're saying but I think that was not really true of college Shaq, in particular. The guy was a quick as a cat, I had never seen a guy that big move like that. And he was bigger than almost everybody else.
But sheer ball skills and understanding of the game, definitely Mahmoud. And more entertaining to watch, for sure.
