that’s not even counting Jaden Hill’s 3 dominant innings.

Great Defense!

No Offense !

Les Miles Returns to LSU !

PS I'm sure that the hitting will improve as the season progresses.

Pitching aint the problem. You have to do better with the bats.

No hits in 15 innings??? Eddie Smith and Paul have to do better.

Great for pitching until PM starts making pitching changes and calling a change up first pitch to a batter with no homeruns. To that batter, you don't call a change up in that scenario.

Can you please explain why?

In your explanation be sure to document the pitch strengths of the pitcher in the mound, the weaknesses of the batter, how the batter had approached his previous at bats, the effectiveness of said pitch against the handedness of the batter in question.

Will love to hear this explanation.

Also, given that Alan Dunn calls the pitches, I would like evidence that PM called the pitch that you are bringing into question.

he hung it.

the call wasn’t the issue, it just floated on him.
one bad pitch that unfortunately was tattooed.

Going to Hill at the time he did Friday night was a great call. I can’t think of one pitching change this weekend that I didn’t agree with. Some didn’t work out but going into them I wasn’t thinking why this guy.

CPM doesn’t call pitches. That would be Alan Dunn and if I guess he didn’t tell Labas to throw a change up of the heart of the plate. He missed his spot the hitter took advantage. Not a coaching issue.

It's easy for me to say this after the outcome has happened. But, I thought we should have gone to Beck after Marceaux. That was a big stage for Storz and Kaminer to come into. Beck has thrown in plenty of big games. I was hoping to see Beck then Fontenot. Obviously, if Storz and Kaminer came in and were lights out, i wouldn't be questioning the move.

I see what you are saying but I can counter that with this is CPM’s chance before sec play to put Storz and Kaminer in your see if he can rely on them if the situation happens in SEC play. He knows what he has in Beck and Fontenot. At minimum Storz and Kaminer are better today because he did what he did Saturday. The rant cares about winning in February/March. CPM cares about winning in May/June. Reminder they lost to Texas who didn’t even make the NCAA tourney and still got a top 16 seed last year.

It’s mainly about what you do in conference play in college baseball anyway. Especially if your conference is the SEC. Win 20 games there and you are a top 8 seed. Win 18 and you are a top 16 seed.

And earned 1 win. Pitching has never been the question this season lol. I’m not writing this team off yet, but the offense has a long way to go. The ABs yesterday weren’t even very competitive.

there was pretty much one competitive at bat for both teams the whole game.

It was a pitcher's duel not a hitters duel.

I was looking at LSU'S stats for the year and saw where opposing teams are hitting .192 and have an OBP of .289, that is damn good. On the other hand, LSU is batting .229 with an OBP of .328, there's no other way to put it but that sucks.

I posted all of this and how the season would go down with no hitting, the Pawl supporters excoriated me.

Leslie Edwin Maineri is in control, he's cashing checks and doesn't care.
