If he hits it off the wall no one is saying anything. It’s a high risk play and with Beloso at the plate I’m okay with it especially with the lead.

He gave arguably our best hitter the green light in arguably the best count for a green light. But obviously since it didn’t work..it was a horrible call.

The real crime in that inning is giving Gio that at bat.

Who has performed better so far this season?

Letting a guy that is locked in at the plate swing at a for sure fastball with a man in scoring position is never stupid.

You just dont know anything about baseball outside of your American Legion days when you were 12

I am not a fan of Paul but I had zero prob with the green light there. Wish he'd have hit it in the Crawford boxes but it didn't work out in this case .

I can live with the green light, even lefty vs lefty

But Gio in 2 hole, a contact spot, defies logic

Not sure how he can stay in lineup with how weak he has been, much less that high in the order

Since you know baseball why don’t you head to the front office and ask for the HC position. You got my vote.

I missed baseball season. The sport where hindsight is way better than 20/20.

Shouldn’t have greenlit lefty on lefty, especially with the run this guy has on his fastball

Beloso is one of the best hitters on the team and he got a belt high fastball. It didn’t work out but it was worth a shot.

Actually more reason to do it with the certainty of a fastball coming.

As usual, you have zero idea what you're talking about.
