What other coaches were available when Skip picked Miles as our head coach after Saban left? Not trying to start argument but I am curious. Thanks

All I remember is that Saban recommended Houston Nutt

Do you remember any other coaches? How many interviewed for it?

Saban was a super dick for lying to Skip stretching out his decision to leave when he knew he was heading to Miami. Dude let many other coaches find jobs while he fricked over LSU and left like a thief in the night. frick Saban and anyone who still pulls for that frick.

Nutt, petrino, and miles were the top 3. Saban preferred nutt

I didn't fault him for giving the NFL a shot, but the way he left says a lot about the person he is. We now know how slimy he really is. It's no coincidence that he loses coaches by the masses. He's a miserable little man and complete prick

Thanks fellows. Was a short list. Not knocking Miles too much but you would have thought more coaches would have wanted this job

Considering had Saban not been a dick and lied to Skip about his decision already having been made, Steve Spurrier would have actually been in the mix. Saban drug out his decision on purpose to make sure he wasn’t followed up by a good coach with a stacked roster. Dude tried to get LSU to hire Houston Nutt. Spurrier was spurned by LSU back in the late 80’s when they chose Archer. Spurrier went on to sign with the Gamecocks in 2005 when LSU settled for Miles.

I’m still mad about the defensive blunder against Iowa! 60 minutes unless you know your headed out when the game is over.
