You act as though sloppy birth control is a modern problem. It has always been with us. The government support programs are a relatively new thing.
Read up on the birthrates in 19th century immigrant slums and the rates of "sudden marriages" and illegitimacy. Abortion, though abhorrent has been a thing for forever and I suspect always will until we have Brave New World capabilities (genetic design babies).

I’m a big proponent of incentivized sterilization.
Cut a nice check to anyone 18-35 to get sterilized. Instead of having kids they can’t afford, the poor can use that money to go to school, get a car, move, better their life.
Will it be abused? Yep. Gays/incels/those who can’t or never want kids etc. will people use the money on drugs and alcohol and stupid shite instead of bettering their lives? Yep.
But, those who DO better their lives, once in a better position, can adopt one of the hundreds of thousands of children looking for a loving home currently in foster care.
Those that don’t use the money to better their situation, well. They will eventually die and won’t leave us producers with their hellspawn kids.

Has there ever been a time in human history when poor people stopped fricking because they couldn't afford the kids? A lot of Catholics come to mind.
Nope. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do what we can to stem the birthdate of the poor.

Because those people don’t understand accountability for anything . That’s why they want everything for free and don’t want to work for it.

I could advocate for this idea too, and ultimately the cost of the incentives would theoretically be much less than the cost of social welfare, law enforcement, judicial, or penal costs for a bunch of children raised in bad conditions.

With a business model like that, it has to be.

You're certainly no businessman.

Or a non-profit or simply a wealthy individual doing it on his own.
Sounds to me like you only see the govt as the option. Who is the statist again?

When was the last time you had sex? You don't remember when you were young, sex and reproduction weren't a related thought at least in the front of the brain. The only real argument against abortion IMO is the argument of the the ethicalality of ending a life. The philosophical discussion begins and ends at what stage in a pregnancy life begins.

I can’t believe that people with less to lose than I have don’t act as if they have as much to lose as I have.

Because, for some, it is a sole source of income.
