Being 33, I grew up with the Golden Girls on Nick at Nite and on random channels during the day. Almost no other show is more loved within my generation.

Do the new generations watch or have seen the 'Golden Girls'?

Sometimes she doesn’t have to say anything. Her facial expression does it all.

I'm 35 and in the same boat. It was on twice in the morning before I went to school. Twice as soon as I got home, then 2 more times before I went to bed. And it seems to gain a new audience every generation. It's definitely a one of its kind show. Seemed like every girl I know had a "which Golden Girl am I" discussion, and most guys I knew wondered what Blanche could do in bed.

Yes. Born in 1999. We all know the Golden Girls. Best aged sitcom from that era IMO (pun-intended)

Yes. And friends. My buddy's 13 year old daughter is obsessed with Friends. It's pretty weird.

So is my 13 year old daughter. She’s watched the entire series 2 or 3 times.

She doesn’t like Golden Girls though. I haven’t really watched Golden Girls since it originally aired in the mid 80’s. I remember there being a lot of sexual innuendo in it.

Yeah Blanch was a whore.

Betty White was great as the ditzy blonde grown old.

But Bea Arthur definitely made the show, sarcastically ripping everyone else. She had the most jokes along.

The girls enter their home and find it burglarized:

Dorothy: Careful, they may still be here.
Rose: Who, the robbers?
Dorothy: No Rose. The Supreme Court.

Also, it's like in the gay Bible to love GG along with Steel Magnolias. So some do?

I never really watched this show until last year. While I don't dislike it, it is not really that funny. Ive probably watched 30 episodes and make laughed maybe 5 times.

Its a lot like Young Shledon that my wife makes me watch. Not a bad show, but not really funny.
