Yea, the more I think about I might get a kettle this year and learn to smoke on charcoals and then look at the SmokeFire after a year of working the bugs out.

I've literally never cooked on anything other than my weber gas. Ever.

To those not experiencing the smoke they would like using a pellet smoker, have you tried the lumberjack pellets? I find these are the best at producing smoke compared to some of the others.

On the note of the Weber, It seems as though they have quite a few bugs to work out from those who have started getting them within the last week or so.

I was a Weber gas guy. I sold my Summit and moved cross country. I have Performer, now, and planned to get a small Weber Spirit for quick cooks, but I enjoy cooking withe the kettle. I bought a bunch of accessories with the money I was going to spend on the gas grill, instead.
