As a baseline, where would you rate him and who is rated above him?
Stats:
5 Titles (1991, 1992, 2001, 2010, 2015) [3 different decades]
3 x COY
35 Tournaments
12 Final Fours
12 Conference Titles / 15 Conference Tourney Titles
1153-347 (76.9%) Most wins all time
4 losing seasons (2 at Army and his 2nd and 3rd year at Duke)
21 times his teams won over 80% of their games (including 19-20)
3 times his teams won over 90%
All this playing in the ACC which isn't a slouch BB league
So I guess it depends on how you rate him if is is the most overrated.
His record is pretty legit.

The one thing that I do laugh about regarding Duke and being from NC are the amount of “true southerners” who hate everything Yankee and despise the north pull for Duke.
I don’t think you’re actually from NC.

NC makes up 11% of the student population.
NY, NJ, California, MA, Ohio and PA make up more than 50% of the population

I don’t think coach K is overrated at all, but how last year’s duke team played so poorly in the tournament and failed to even make the final 4 is mystifying.

Plus their women on Tinder/Bumble/Hinge are lacking severely. If you want to talk physics with some homely broad, it’s great. If you want someone who looks good in a bikini though

Go to UNC or NC State.

Terrible take on college basketball.

he won a championship with a starting five of Jon Scheyer, Nolan Smith, Kyle Singler, Lance Thomas, and Brian Zoubek.
That list of names might seem unimpressive now but 3 of those guys were McDonalds All Americans. And that team was laden with upperclassmen. I would say winning in 2015 with all those underclassmen in a relatively strong year for CBB was more impressive. Although I still think Kentucky would have beaten them if Wisconsin didnt take them out.

Coach K is literally the second best college basketball coach of all time, behind only the Wizard of Westwood.
Stupid OP is stupid.

Just question to try and prove a point, obviously a Duke grad, are you from NC?

When it comes to women:
ECU > NCSU > App State > UNC/Duke/Wake/Davidson
ECU > NCSU > App State > UNC/Duke/Wake/Davidson

Yea if you want herpes. ECU is the Coastal Carolina of North Carolina. UNC and NC State are the best in NC
Then again I’m getting “rankings” from a guy who’s 35 and still using dating apps

Since we're not talking about Pro Coaches...nothing overrated about a coach pulling in lottery picks.
From CBB to CFB, coaching is all about the studs...from John Wooden to Cal.
Never understood why ppl think a College coach who recruits for a living is overrated when he brings in awesome recruits.
That's his #1 job, he's not out there playing. Kids frick up. Can't blame the coach. College sports is all about the best athletes and putting them in the best situations to win. If it was just X's and O's Rick and Peterson would have multiple National Titles in their respective sports.

4 championships
Not to mention world championships and gold medals. He’s a great coach. Losing one game can happen to any team any time. The fact that he’s won that tournament 4 times is incredible. And as far as the recruiting class he didn’t win with, sure, all those recruits were good players but they are also kids. Just because they are individually awesome means nothing when they have to play together.
