Trump derangement syndrome experience

I am currently in Portugal for vacation. My wife, myself and 2 other couples were sitting out on the river enjoying some wine and food. None of the couples were there together just all in very close proximity to each other, less than 10 feet so you could not help but to hear each other talk. Turns out one couple was from Switzerland and the other was from Boston. The couple from Boston was apparently on their honeymoon and just starting their vacation. The couple from Switzerland was very nice and began to strike up a conversation with the Boston couple. The first thing he says was I love America, your country is such an inspiration and incredible place. He was being very polite and paying them a compliment. They instant first thought/response was, our country is terrible right now, our president is awful and has completely destroyed our country. The Switzerland couple said I hope I get to visit US sometime soon, to which they responded, don’t come till we get a new president our county is in terrible shape right now.
I could never imagine being so upset about politics that on my honeymoon when someone gives me a compliment on my country my first response/thought is our county is in ruins and our president is terrible. It blew my mind.

Find their passports and burn them.

You should have suggested the couple trade houses for a year and then the Boston TDS couple would see how great we are.

He may have destroyed these lovely Bostonians mentally ill vision of America, but he has done nothing to “destroy” America.

These people don't know any better. They have literally been brainwashed their entire life by the media and academics.
It's really amazing if you think about it.

They are coming from Switzerland not Botswana. Switzerland is pretty goddamned nice and rich.

For the life of me, no matter who is the president, how can you bad mouth this great country? Everyone wants to live here. We are the most powerful and generous nation in the world. Our natural scenic splendor is diverse and awe inspiring. We have a a free society that allows anyone to prosper if they truly desire to do so. I don’t understand it.

Why didn't you speak up?
Because I am on vacation and don’t care to get into a political argument when I’m trying to relax

Finding a good job may suck, but that’s an insanely beautiful country that makes Boston look like a gutter. In a vacuum, Switzerland in a heartbeat.

^^^This
Didn't have to be mean about it but simply ask them to explain in what way is America doing so "Poorly".
Liberals love to shite all over America to foreigners, They think everyone outside of the US hates us so they want to show their dedication to globalism and feel the best way to do that is to speak negatively about the country the live in.

Want to know what I wish; that everybody had to live outside the US for a year....then you'll know just how fricking easy they have it.

Dude, you should have interjected. How do you sit there and let someone do that? Don't be mean, as a matter of fact be super positive and nice. Set them straight. How DO YOU NOT CARE ? You could have had a great time with it. Is your vacation more important than the country that gave you the opportunity to afford it ? How can you be a apathetic ? Do you even bother to vote or does it "mess up your plans"?

People who think living in Switzerland would be better know nothing.
It is better for VACATION. shite, I would rather vacation all sorts of places.

But for me only 1 place outside the US; Hungary. There was a time when I would have vacationed in a lot of places those days are long gone.

It’s hard to gauge their level of TDS based on your post alone. They are symptomatic of the disorder. They are definitely the product of MSM and academic brainwashing as well.

Over and under on that marriage lasting 3 years?
