He should get the exact same sentence that would have been given to the two innocent people he tried to set up.

Im assuming he didnt plan on the police getting involved or them finding a real perp.

Yes. The cops aren’t going to get involved when you’re a tv star and you call the cops to report being jumped.

Interesting. You figure he would have seen that coming after he - :checks notes: - went to the police.

So I’m assuming you think it’s okay for the police to ignore minority victims of hate crimes?

Yeah, I'm sure the dumb frick didn't think of the unintended consequences of his actions. I'm also sure there are numerous people sitting in prison right now who didn't think about it either.
He had ample opportunity to put an end to his charade between the time the "attack" happened and the time his agent convinced him to call 911. He willingly went along with every step of the process and investigation and is still sticking to his story, which means he is still saying there are a couple of innocent guys out there who should be prosecuted for his idiotic scheme.
So, yes, if you prosecute him for hate crimes and give him a substantial amount of real prison time, there will be far fewer of these cases in the future.

Then why call the police and report an attempted lynching?
