No, but I would appreciate some education if it will tie up loose ends on this movie.

It was part of the Manson murders in real life, this just tells an alternate ending to that

In real life some Manson followers go and kill the neighbors of Leo’s character. One of them being Sharon Tate (Margo Robbie).

That’s what they were about to do when they were outside Leo’s house in the street in the movie. Then he yelled at them, they left, and they decided to go to the house next door instead with the actor that was an a-hole to them.

This movie was just a quirky alternative to real life with QTs typical spin set in the backdrop of someone’s acting career

A number of parts were entertaining but I didn’t like it nearly as much as most of his other stuff

This is why you couldn't appreciate it. The Tate murder looms over the whole movie. I was really reluctant to see it knowing how it would end.

The alternate ending was a relief after 2 hours of dreading seeing a pregnant woman getting murdered on screen.
