Nice Try... Ban the players

By the way who stars in this Lifetime Movie?

quote:

The Houston Astros' front office laid the groundwork for the team's electronic sign-stealing ploys via a program dubbed "Codebreaker" that was introduced by an intern in the organization in September 2016, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.

According to the WSJ, the Excel-based application designed to decode opposing catchers' signs was used throughout the 2017 season and for part of 2018 by Astros baseball operations employees and video room staffers both at home and on the road.

Staffers would log the catcher's signs and subsequent pitches into a spreadsheet and "Codebreaker" would determine how the signs related to different pitches. The information would then be communicated to the hitter by a baserunner via an intermediary.

People keep ignoring the most important race in sports......the first baseball team in Texas to win a World Series. I'll have a melt down if it isn't Texas.

I honestly believe the astros would've swept the 2019 world series if they weren't so distracted with the sign stealing stuff

2019 Washington Nationals* should be thanking us

So then you've been melting for over 2 years now.

So we confirmed that there was no use of buzzers. Great!

They stopped "sign stealing" at the beginning of the 2018 season... So no.

I was convinced that was a conspiracy until the Hinch interview the other night. He wouldn't directly say that buzzers or other tech was not used. It was some super legal tight answer that didn't answer the actual question.

I did, yes.

But now I know it wasn't real so it's whatever. If Houston wins one this year then congrats, but the race for a legit title is still on.

I'm sure this bothers Astros fans and MLB.

MLB definitely does not care lol.

The real test will be when I constantly bang a trash can in some Houston fan's ears when they come to Arlington this year for the first time

Gonna be a lot more than “some” Houston fans this year in Arlington per usual. Has been a nice home away from home for the squad and Rangers were nice enough to build us a new park that looks just like ours.

If you want to hang a banner for us in there feel free
