Was thinking the same..

This team loves to get out and run, and when they're making jump shots, they can play with anybody.. but when the shots stop falling, we keep chucking and missing. We saw it plenty of times earlier this season

Now you add Zion to the mix, who can either put you on an ESPN top-10 highlight reel in transition, OR slow down and destroy these tweeners like Thaddeus Young or PJ Tucker.

The rest of the team just has to know when to stop shooting and start feeding him

Yeah, they don't know much about Barkley to not see how nasty he was. Pure brute Force and athleticism from Charles Barkley.

I do'nt think that is the case at all.

I think some of y'all are selling Zion short on his athleticism.

If you think Barkley and Zion compare athletically, you need to go watch some more Barkley. yeah he was athletic, but not like this. Just b/c you say someone is more athletic than someone else doesn't mean the lesser guy isn't athletic.

His 2nd jump is unlike anyone else in the league, especially at his size. We are going to continue to see him power to the rim and if he misses he's going to get his own rebound and put it back up more often than not. Jokic does this very well, but for a much different reason, he simply bully's his way under the goal to where the defender can't really get the rebound b/c Jokic is so big and so tall.

I think we still haven't seen anywhere near prime Zion from an athletic and even skill standpoint.
The thing that impressed me the most in the preseason was Zion's dribbling. He's been terrible thus far at that.
And i think if zion was 100%, he would have posterized Giannis twice the other night, instead of getting blocked.
