Only on TD can a statement made by an arrested football player lead to an argument about whether Satan has dominion over Earth

Sorry Peep, it is true, not just a belief. The evidence is in Scripture and all around you.

Really? So then you’ve collected your million dollars from James Randi then?

Anyone who questions their own faith because of the horrible things that happen in the world is a dumb arse?

Anyone who believes in something without quantifiable and demonstrable evidence is gullible and should never be taken seriously.

That is what the Bible says, just sayin.

Why should anyone care what the Bible says. The Bible is no more proof of god than Harry Potter is proof of wizards. Both arguments would be “I have this book that says”. You still have to demonstrate the claim. The source of a claim can never be used as proof of the claim.

That’s generally the case with religious people. Very few actually know the history behind their own religious text and generally lack the ability or will to think critically on the topic.

L O fukking L, how can a grown up not see how incredibly dumb this looks. You might as well say Voldermort is gonna get us.

Well. At least with Voldemort we can go back to the source writer of the book and ask her about it. We don’t have any idea who wrote the books in the Bible.

If everything was perfect on Earth, why would we need Him? Also, he gave us free will so we can choose to love him rather than essentially be enslaved to Stockholm Syndrome. He wants a meaningful relationship, as do we. Free will also gives evil people the ability to carry out evil acts. 2 of the 3 terrible things you mentioned are/were done by people.

You haven’t fully proven that we actually have free will. In fact, it’s a very highly discussed topic among philosophers.

Many believe we only have the illusion of free will and that every action you make is the sum part of all that has transpired before it. But to comprehend this concept, one must have full understanding of the butterfly effect and its ramifications.

But why did he apologize to University of Louisiana? What does Monroe or Lafayette have to do with it and why do they deserve an apology?
What those schools should do is make a statement to make sure no one mistakes him for one of their students.

9/11, school shootings, cancer, all just tests from an all loving, all powerful being.

God asked Abraham to sacrifice his own son. God knew Daniel was going into the Lion’s den. God knew in advance his only son would die a horrible death to save you and me. God has power over all, but most people fail to realize that until Jesus comes back, Satan still has access to anything on this earth and his sole intention is to turn you and me against God. Jesus said 5 times in the New Testament “Those who love their own life will lose it; those who hate their own life in this world will keep it for life eternal.“ Sorry but your grandpaw was wrong

This is what concerns me.

If he can’t outrun cops, how is he gonna run with an SEC RB sideline to sideline?
