I mean who exactly do they have that would be impressive?

Why you say Jim?
It was time for the Latino token.

To his credit, the Democratic field is awfully bad. It's like as if all their candidates are up to stupid shite and they don't have a leader worth a frick at all. It's a lot like watching Razorback football, actually.

And the impeachment is like a gadget play that went horribly wrong.

He also said he didn't want the Democrats to become like the Labour Party in the UK.

I can't think of any Democrats that impress me outside of Tulsi and Yang. I think the 1998 version of Pocahontas might have been slightly more impressive, but that's when she was more sane and wrote her book.

The 2020 candidate pool is about as impressive as the 2016 candidate pool.
About as impressive as unseasoned, room temperature potato soup.

Yes. Arkansas had one such play this year when we ran a fake punt that was like a shovel pass. It was embarrassing. I wish I was enough of a computer nerd to fark their names onto that gif. It would be a good one.

Carville won't admit it, but Trump is closer to his political ideology than almost all of the Presidential candidates.

He's not wrong but he's a little late to the party. Perez shot himself in the foot before he had warmed the seat.
Back in the summer of 2017 he made the statement that there is no place for pro-Lifers in the Democrat party. The GOP had (and still has) not only the majority in the Senate, held the Presidency, the majority of Governorships, the majority of state legislatures and at the time also held the House and had balanced SCOTUS. So at a low point he disenfranchised ~25% of the Democrat voters to push hard left ideology.
The Dems won the House a few months later, but that's been about it and -if things keep shaping up like they seem to be- he will be running the Democrat party when they lose the Presidency again but in a reversal of 1996 numbers as well as losing the House.
And that doesn't even begin to touch on this Iowa fiasco or how a Bernie nomination will drive even more from the party.

Perez was a far better choice than ellison, but i agree w/carville.
Its kind of shocking the axe hasnt fallen for perez yet.

A couple of reasons stand out, Jim.
1. Money; she secures a lot of donations to the dem party.
2. She knows where all the bodies are buried.

He talks about Bernie’s crazy plans to let convicts vote from prison, no borders, and such. In the end, he admits he’d still vote for him if he got the nomination.

Remember, their former Vice Chair was Keith Ellison...who famously went on TV and said that "Donald Trump is the worst Republican candidate since George Wallace."

Your party is dead, James. This is not the same Democratic Party it was 20 years ago. It's not even the same party it was 10 years ago. It's a party that's been overrun with angry radicals and freaks.
