He just lacks depth as a play caller & innovator & joe Brady coming along proved that.
You certainly don’t work with Brady for 1 year and all of a sudden adapt all his traits. Especially after coaching for 30 years under your own terms.
He’s become a charity case and no one dislikes that more than him. It’s all over his face when they try and publicly praise him. The fans just run with the coach & player-speak

hence why Joe handled the red zone and 3rd down play calling...you know the critical downs. The steve was calling the plays crew seem to gloss over this. Do people forget our red zone struggles the previous year
I don't doubt he helped Joe in some capacity with his experience and knowledge....but come on it was the Brady/Burrow show
