re: Tell me why Brennan isn't going to do just fine as our future QB

Exactly. Better than 2018 is a reasonable expectation. Burrow did that with about 3 months on campus. Brennan’s been here for 3 years with a year under Brady and 2 under Burrow. I don’t get the pessimism really. Or ho anyone could reasonably expect or want a freshman to come in and start over him.
I’ll put it this way, if anyone but Brennan takes starting reps this year, something has gone wrong.

I think he just lacks that swag Burrow had. Seems to be the passive and timid type. Maybe that changes with him being QB1 though. We shall see.

I hoe he’s the guy we need, but I haven’t seen glimpses of him making the kind of throws that Burrow did. Mainly, he hasn’t been in the position to do so.
Be careful, I was called a shitty poser for having a question about Brennan not long ago.

He'll be fine. The only thing holding him back was the fact that he was behind the GOAT.

BH, keep off the rant so people will just wonder if you’re an idiot and not read your posts and know for sure.
Brennan is the equivalent of a transfer qb you simpleton. He graduates in May, he’s been in our system for 3 years and he’s had more play time than Burrow did when he left OSU and came here.
The only thing Brennan is rich in is his ability to play quarterback.

Read the defence quickly

He has the potential to be the best in the SEC this year. Anybody who’s says otherwise is just throwing shite at the wall.

My only real concerns for Brennan are pocket presence and experience . The key is to get him in a rhythm so he can show that arm strength and touch. He has a lot of talent to lean on.

Realistically he could throw 15 less TDS and 1500 less yards and still have a 45 TD 4000+ yard season
Which would be beyond amazing
We just scant expect him to be JB.

One of those names doesn't belong on the list
Mauck was terrible compared to the others

With experience comes pocket presence. When I look at his highlight film in mop up roles this year he appears to follow proper reads, makes the throws and had a few good runs/ scrambles. Following any legend (Burrow, Brees, Brady, etc) is a thankless task. I think he will do fine come SEC TIME of the schedule.

Brennan will finish the season #1-2 in SEC play. Kids got it all. The only thing that can set him back is out retarded fan base bashing him because he isn't the once in a lifetime player that Joe was. We'll see...

It is UNKNOWN at this time whether Brennan possesses the unworldy pocket presence that Joe had. He probably made an average of at least 6-8 extra completions per game by his pocket movement. And some (3rd & 17 @UT) were absolutely critical to the success of our season.

I think he will be fine. The season will go as he goes. The receiving corp is top flight for sure. I think the O-line will be solid.
We'll know better in about 9 months (maybe less).

As long as everyone (including himself) knows that its ok to not be the next Joe Burrow, Myles Brennan will be just fine.

Myles reminds me a lot of Jamarcus, hopefully he can be just as good, if not better.
