Changes to Football Season Ticket Renewal for 2020
Posted on 1/30/20 at 1:49 pm
Posted on 1/30/20 at 1:49 pm
Your 2020 Football Season Renewal Application is now available by logging in to your online ticket account at www.LSUtix.net. A paper copy of your invoice will also be mailed to you within the next week. To see a copy of your invoice digitally, click here.
In an effort to allow fans the opportunity to receive season ticket and parking passes earlier, the LSU Athletic Ticket Office and the Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) have adjusted the football season renewal timeline and priority point deadline date starting with the 2020 season.
Beginning this year, football Tradition Fund contributions and season ticket and parking cost payments will be billed together on one combined invoice. TAF seat contributions will still be billed separately by TAF for those accounts that require them.
Moving forward, the final date to make all football related renewal payment selections will be March 1 or the following Monday, if the deadline falls on a weekend. The 2020 football season renewal deadline will be Monday, March 2. The deadline to join the season ticket relocation list, new season ticket request list, and/or new season parking request list will also be March 2. The priority point deadline for seat relocation or addition of new season tickets or parking will now move up to March 31.
In order to help spread out renewal payments, the LSU Athletic Ticket Office has created four separate payment plans to automatically charge credit/debit cards equal payments on the first of each month as follows:
2 Month Payment Plan: April & June
4 Month Payment Plan: March - June
6 Month Payment Plan: March - August
8 Month Payment Plan: February - September
All seat contributions and season ticket/parking payments will have to be either be paid in full or have a payment plan selected by the deadline date.
These changes will allow for seating relocations, additional purchases of tickets and parking, and delivery of season tickets to occur earlier in the year. Our expectation is for the seat relocation and request list processes to occur in May, and delivery of season tickets and parking to occur approximately one month prior to the first home football game.
Season ticket holders will be able to request away game tickets beginning in April.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the LSU Ticket Office at tickets@lsu.edu or by calling (800) 960-8587 or (225) 578-2184.
Thank you for your support of LSU Athletics.

Much better deal
In past TAF donation was due by March 31 and tickets were due by May 30th
I like this setup much better

So much for a heads-up. Anyone have a real rationale for this as opposed to "in an effort to allow fans the opportunity to receive season ticket and parking passes earlier?" Really, that's the BS rationale?

For us non millionaires it was nice to have it broken up a bit.
ETA: Looks like now they have payment plan options. Used to be all at once or I beleive break it into 3 payments. Now you can do 2, 4, 6, 8. Probably to entice people who otherwise couldn't afford it all at once but could "afford" it broken into chunks more likely to get season tickets. Similar to the OT's obsession with 10 year truck notes. Monthly payment is all that matters to some people.

$50 per ticket. Donation levels the same.

I just checked mine and, surprisingly, there was no increase from the 2019 season in either my ticket costs or TAF Fee.

It also is a clever way for them to get away with raising prices without people making a huge fuss over it. See auto prices.

Me too, instead if having to remember two cut-off dates you can take care of it all at once and then forget about it. Plus you can still take the pay over time option if you need too.
They also added an option to purchase the seat backs on the same form.

Anyone hear anything more about when the LSU football 2020 season ticket relocation process will start?
