I agree. He has sucked on this front. Hopefully in his second term he has learned something.

There isn't anyone.....anyone in washington dc that he can trust. Everyone there is out for themselves, and party 2nd. Except for Democrats. They fricking stick together like stink on shite, and they are also looking out for themselves.

When Obama came to office, He purged every single ambassador and employee from the Bush hold over.
Trump never did that, and that was his biggest mistake. Now he is paying for it.

At what point do we recognize the fact that the Senate has to confirm his appointments? Also, have you considered that Trump knew these people were shitbags and he was giving them an opportunity to destroy themselves and they did just that? Of course you don't consider it because you're too concerned with trying to figure out "gotcha" games instead of behaving like a rational adult. "Horrible judge of character."

so pathetic.

A wise man once said "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."

That's what he needs to do in his second term. It's not like he can get a another term after that. Needs go scorched earth with firings.

His personnel choices are his biggest failure as president.

When you look at the efforts the entrenched take to turn and paint ANYONE into a pariah that would dare associate with him, you should understand how that serves to limit the pool of availability.

You couldn't have this more backwards.

We like people that reflect ourselves. Don't kid yourself. Trump doesn't appear to be a GOOD person, I guess, but he is EFFECTIVE at his job. We want effective people as president, not good people. J. Carter was a "good" person but an ineffective president.

I prefer the Trump model as President. Be a dick, douche, creep... But get it done.

All he cares about is if you’ll worship him or not. He’s easy to manipulate if you butter him up.

You forgot Wray, Powell, keeping Comey, Rosenstein, Tillerson and probably a bunch more.

A long time ago?

I won’t repeat an earlier post, and some of it can be attributed to having a crappy pool of candidates. But not all of it.

There have been articles along these lines about the reputational hit keeping away mostly experienced (aka swampy) republicans.
