You only need one handgun to shoot someone. What is the proposed limit?

I believe it is 1 per month.

Gun control advocates will say it's a safety measure to prevent stockpiling.

2nd Amendment advocates will say it is a financial disincentive when combined with the new universal background check law.

Haven't investigated if it controls for interstate transactions (can VA residents drive across the state line and purchase multiple pistols from a Bass Pro in TN?).

That is a pretty stupid argument ,and most people that would already have weapons and ammo stockpiled. However I can see how this will suck for people like me who recently lost their stockpile of guns in a terrible boating accident.

Already against federal law for a nonresident to purchase a handgun in any state.

Couldn't you get around it by getting an FFL and buying and selling occasionally?

Not saying I'm for it, just that it would be one way to beat the system.
