Why does this:

quote:

14 yo and a 13 yo tried to carjack him.

seem to be happening more frequently nowadays, all over the place?

Organized gangs use minors for lots of the big crimes because worst case is a juvie record and free at 18.

Also, I'd bet my next paycheck those two kids don't have a dad at home.

Cause we live in a time where anything more than a stern word and mean face qualifies as child abuse

DAs not prosecuting petty theft correctly or at all combined with no follow and no chase laws combined with going easy on first offenders combined with a push to get those arrested out as fast as possible.

It’s absolute insanity and it stems as a direct result of politicians choosing to run a platform around being soft on crime and society in general babying young adults with everything from participation trophies to empowerment movements while publicly shaming good parents and promoting horrific ones.

We used to say it takes a village to raise a child and discipline starts at home. We have surrendered our children to an education system that is nothing more than an indoctrination camp and we as a society at large have quit parenting our children and instead cater them.

Yes it is. And the police have to try to deal with it with their hands tied.
