We all know that the down linemen and LBs take huge hits all the time.
Difference is that THAT is part of their job description and barring something illegal, they don't get hit in ways they are not trained to absorb. .
GBs are not expected to get blindsided in the ribs in a stretched posture.

WTF...And you know what QBs have to deal with? Trying getting lit up while completely unprotected throwing a pass. Dude had a rib injury and still was throwing (would hurt like hell) and running and taking hits
