He will be for a few more years also. He said as much at the NC media days. If he were stepping aside anytime soon we would have fought harder to keep Brady.

So please get more informed about this team and quit asking who our new OC will be.

Who will be our Passing Game Coordinator is the question. And SE gets some credit for the new offense and the development of Burrow. The dude is completely humble and avoids the spot light but he can coach also.

It didn’t matter how much we fought we weren’t keeping Brady.

Thank God Ensminger didn't leave for all of the job offers and major raises that he was offered.

You might be right but that would be a mistake by Coach O. He has earned the right to a mistake with this national championship, but a mistake nonetheless.
The proof you ask? A very successful head coach(Rhule) and a very rich NFL owner(Tepper) just gave Brady an NFL OC job after just one year at LSU. Brady got named college assistant of the year. LSU offered Brady over a million a year to stay. A whole lot of successful and rich men are idiots OR it’s obvious why LSUs offense(not just Burrow) was a national story.
I rest my case.
Orgeron is in a tough spot. He loves and trusts Coach E but the momentum of his program hangs in the balance. LSU is being negatively recruited against with “a one year aberration”. Smart move by our enemies to try and discount an amazing season. Orgeron must prove them wrong with his DC AND his OC hire. IMHO

We have already seen what Ensminger offense could do without Brady even with JB9 at QB
16 TD passes for the 2018 season

2019 with Joe Brady 60 TD passes.

Any questions ?

There is no evidence to believe otherwise. LSU will come back to the pack in a big way next year, and the pack is only getting better with the quality of coaching hires in the last few years.

People are stupid enough to believe that having a play book saves everything. The offense will need a creative and innovative mind to step in and constantly implement new concepts. Ensminger has proven repetitively that he can not come up with up to date concepts and design his own playbook. You cannot just keep doing the same things. LSU will need to change and be dynamic from week to week. The one season when that was available, happened to be the only undefeated season. I pray that Orgeron isn't foolish enough to go back to zero points against Bama.

Only team I'm worried about is Auburn, because those cow rapists always seem to pull a rabbit's foot out of their keysters when the time is right.

You need to worry about Bama coming back to the pack. I’ve never seen Bama lose so many “Saban high priority” recruits as this year, lost to Clemson, Georgia, LSU and others.
Your shellacking by Clemson followed by two losses this season have changed the national perception about your program. This will make it easier to use Saban’s age(68) against him in recruiting year by year. It was a great run. Get ready for no great coach wanting to follow Saban because of the nature of your fan base.

Not sure I’m a fan of this

Let’s not forget most on here were ready to run him out of town before this year

I agree. When BDN is gone, Bama will go through the wilderness again, but eventually we'll find another Moses.

But BDN ain't gone yet. And the recruiting rankings still show that he's daddy while he's here.

Maybe when he and Miss Terri ride off into the sunset, LSU will have a chance to win a natty more than once every 12 years, but I doubt it. They're about to have to fight like crazy to keep from dropping behind Ole Piss and Moo St. Not to mention Dumbo Fisher.

There’s plenty of evidence to believe Alabama is falling back towards “the pack” themselves. The recruiting is still there. Apparently the Bama bagmen are still top notch (no judgment). But the coaching is stale and you know it.

And LSU has broken the glass ceiling. We’ve proven that not only can we compete for championships but we can even burn through the rest of the SEC like a hot knife through butter. There’s absolutely nothing in our way. Unlike Bama, we are one of the most innovative programs in the country. As far from stale as it gets.

Great choice of words, because the only ceiling LSU has it what it imposes on itself by hiring a shrimp boat captain to run their program.

1-9.

Soon to be 1-10.

The Steve fan boys are so weird. You people do realize we were prepared to make the “passing coordinator” a raise that paid him well over what Steve makes? The reason being because that was Brady’s offense. It’s Brady not Steve that just became the youngest and highest paid OC in the NFL.

How about some recognition for arguably the best college football team of all time. The experts are using the 2001 Miami season and one of Nebraska’s seasons as being in the argument.
No one is bringing up a Bama team. That’s nothing to be ashamed about, but show some respect for a great recruiting and coaching job by Orgeron.
A little class too much to ask?
Also, once every 12 years? LSU has played in 4 of the last 16 national championship games and has won three of them.

You better start worrying about that pick six machine y’all have a quarterback,

I think his name is Mac Jones...

Which makes it all that more confounding as to why we just don't go out and hire an actual OC. And that's nothing against Ensminger. We all know and appreciate what he's done for LSU.

What we're basically looking for is someone to be our offensive coordinator, but not actually have the title or pay associated with an offensive coordinator. That's a tough sell.
