UF fired Mac and got Mullen with no problem. Hell, UF is getting a new football facility thats paid for mainly by ONE guy.
All schools have big money boosters behind them. LSU too

Baylor has not been known to pay its staff big salaries up to now and we have been known to be one of the highest paying schools for several years. You just ignoring that fact and pulling comments out of your arse?

We’re not comparing to your situation at UF, dumbass. Or any other SEC school. We’re comparing to a school that isn’t know to pay big money for position coaches. They don’t have the huge alumni base that large public universities have and they don’t have a TV contract as good as the SEC’s. I’m sure LSU could outbid Baylor if it came down to it. It doesn’t look like they are going to, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t.
As for Wisconsin, you guys aren’t paying your DC big time money, either. Any SEC school outside of Vandy could probably give you a run on salary and the top 6 programs here would all bury you guys based on what you currently pay your staff.
Just be glad your guy is an alum, because we took your last DC to come to a team with a lame duck coach who ended up getting fired. We aren’t in that boat anymore if you haven’t noticed.

So its irrelevant how long LSU has been doing it if the other team has now raised their bar to compete with teams like LSU.
