Utah OC Andy Ludwig turned down Aranda per Baylor 247 site
And...
And...

Have only heard one other name.
Jorge Munoz who was with LSU as an offensive analyst. He was at ULL for ten years, with I believe at least 1 as OC.
He is also a candidate to be the new WR coach at LSU. Don’t know if Aranda is looking at him as OC or a position coach (if LSU passes on him).

Aranda should hire Rich Rod if Baylor would let him.
If not, he's gonna have to reach. It's late in the game to get a proven OC.

I think Dave actually landed well with this job. Of course his OC will be big but Baylor has talent I that roster. All he has to do is keep the same formula Briles started and that's recruit to your system and take chances on high upside kids and see which ones pan out. Plenty of talented kids in TX even after the big boys sweep through.

Any idea whether Aranda will retain Joey McGuire?
Posted on 1/19/20 at 10:48 am to Peter Venkman
Probably not. Joey runs a 3-3-5 defense that's not what aranda likes.

So Muñoz would basically fill Brady’s spot as passing game coord/WRs then.

Essentially. And I'm not sure I like this honestly because we can't expect to have top young offensive minds be a passing game coordinator and E as OC. Eventually we are going to lose out on them wanting to be their own OC at a different school.

McGuire isn’t the DC so he doesn’t run anything. He’s the defensive ends coach.

Relax.
If LSU wants Munoz to stay they can pay a LOT MORE than Baylor to be the WR Coach/Co-OC/Passing Coordinator
The question is ONLY if LSU wants that or not. Baylor won't steal him.

Baylor has some good talent. But they still aren’t back to a good spot as far as the O line goes, due to the 2016 recruiting gap and transfers. Plus the defense losses 9 starters.

Lol!

Munoz is going to Baylor as a position coach not the OC.

Are you saying if he goes?
Or are you saying it's a done deal
