Zero Turn Mower Feedback

I'm currently shopping for a "prosumer" high-end residential/low-end commercial zero-turn mower. The house we are buying has about a 1 acre yard, flat, with probably 15 to 20 landscaping trees to cut around.
Due to limitations with the size of the existing built-in storage shed, I'm trying to find a 48 inch deck mower with a small footprint with regards to width/length. HOA requirements make it cost prohibitive to build a new shed at this time (must match building materials/quality of the dwelling).
I've narrowed it down to the following 48 inch deck mowers:
Hustler Raptor SDX or Raptor Flip-Up
Ferris 400s
Scag Liberty Z
Gravely ZT XL
All are available with local dealers that I feel comfortable working with and servicing.
Anyone have any feedback on these models/brands?
Thanks in advance.

I had a Gravely ZT X that I sold and upgraded to a Gravely HD. Both are great mowers and only upgraded due to size of yard increasing.
Check out the Cub Cadet ZT2 as well. It has the upgraded trans units and Kawasaki engines. My dad picked one up last year and loves it.

keep in mind a 48" deck requires at least a 60" door opening or you will be banging into walls and ripping the grass deflector off it

I park my 48" Gravely HD in a 50" spot. Mulch kit removed grass deflector and slow and steady keeps one from banging into walls.

yes you can shoe horn things in tight spots, doesnt mean you arent going to eventually tear shite up on the mower or the shed at some point when you do that

Owned a Hustler Fasttrak 20/52 for 18 years now!! Regular schedule maintenance. Replaced both belts once, one spindle in that time frame!
Damn SOLID machine.
Highly recommend.

Yeah, the double doors to the shed have a 60 inch clearance. 64 inch frame, but allowing 2 inches on each side for the door.
The semi tricky part is the shed is basically a rectangle, but it's wider (about 156 inches, or 13 feet) than it is deep (76 inches, or 6 ft 4 in), with the door at the front left of the shed. So I'll be pulling in straight and making a hard right turn to store. Or I could just pull it straight forward and just climb around it when I need to get into the shed.
Most of these mowers are between 67.5 and 70 inches long, except the SDX, which is 73 inches. And all are 49 to 50 inches wide with the grass chute up, except the Ferris, which is 53 inches wide.
The Scag is the shortest (67.5), and narrowest (49 with chute up), so that's where I'm leaning.

Related to your HOA, I saw someone put up one of those Home Depot style metal sheds, then come back and brick over it to "match the house architecture".

Have had a 52 Liberty Z for over a year. Gas splashes out around gas gauge. Shop reseated it and it still splashes when full.

Just finished my 3rd cutting season with the Hustler Raptor SDX 54 in. I don't have a single complaint. Cuts great plenty of power from the Kawasaki engine.
With most mowers, if you treat it right and do proper maintenance it'll last you a long time.

If those are my choices then I’m going with the Scag. I’ve got about 7-8 acres that actually gets mowed. I had it down to the Scag and Kubota. In the end, I went with the 60 inch Kubota ZD326 diesel. I know apples and oranges for what you’re going to be mowing but the thing is a tank! I just wanted to let you know that the Scag was up there too.

This 52" Hustler is on sale for $2499 right now. I have a different model Hustler but I'm very impressed so far.
