To be fair to Joe, if you watched/ listened to that interview, Joe looked and sounded like death.

The fans that made Tiger Stadium would've slapped the taste out your mouth for shouting that around their families and kids. Period

Herbstreit is exactly correct. It certainly doesn't help LSU. Beckham is a show off and should be banned from any LSU activities in the future

Herby has always shite on LSU. This goes back to the early 2000's. He is a Midwest prick and that hasn't seemed to change.
OBJ is the problem. He should have all his sideline privileges revoked. His attitude is horrible. It reeks with selfishness and materialism.
That is not the culture you want in a program and there are many signs that this is the culture of LSU. We have had more players leave early than any other program in the last 10 years. Some that leave early don't get drafted or are drafted very late. They want out of school as fast as possible even though staying another year would benefit them greatly.

On Paul Finebaum’s show on Wednesday, someone called in about how LSU is ranked 3rd in ESPN’s power rankings. Finebaum, who has never been in love with LSU, called BS on that, saying that those were irrelevant. He also went on to say that ESPN is biased against the SEC in general, and he named Herbstreit as one of those who are very much biased toward the Big 10. I was surprised he actually said that.

Although our fans can be total wimps about that kind of stuff, Herbstreet was completely wrong to throw Clemson and Bama in the conversation and act like they are the model for doing things right. As I stated earlier, Bama has had NUMEROUS bad optic things (which I listed) and total lack of discipline for players doing actual bad stuff.
And Clemson had a major PED issue before the title game last year with four players getting suspended for the NC game and two getting suspended for this season. Dabo defended them and then stated Clemson may have "accidentally" given them the banned substance. Yeah, ok. I like Herbstreet, but he was completely wrong to act like Bama and Clemson are the poster boys for good behavior.
And by the way, if you are seriously criticizing adults for smoking victory cigars after the title game, then you are acting holier than thou. That is something that goes back a long time and is a simple, harmless celebration. It's not like they smoked them on some team's home field.
